President of Advanced Business Systems, LLC

A Microsoft Dynamics NAV Gold Partner

Chris graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering (minor: Mathematics). He immediately took a position with a large consulting firm where he obtained extensive experience in managing various technically oriented projects. While biding his time (4 yrs.) necessary to sit for the Professional Engineers Examination he embarked on taking the necessary coursework required to sit for the CPA exam. He completed both the Professional Engineers examination and subsequently obtained his CPA license.

Chris has extensive project management experience involving high tech projects for companies which include Mobil Oil, Chevron, LOOP, Murphy Oil, Shell Oil and Entergy. Since 1995 he has been involved in automation projects and since 1999 he has been engaged primarily in ERP and Accounting Software implementations (Microsoft Dynamics NAV formerly Navision). The ERP Software industry has allowed Chris to couple his High Tech Side (Electrical Engineering) with his Accounting expertise enabling him to provide a superior product to his clients. The project management skills which he learned in the engineering profession have served Chris well in the implementation of ERP Software which by its nature is a complex process needing proven project methodology to reduce risk and improve client satisfaction. Chris previously served on the Louisiana CPA Society Technology Committee and has submitted technology related articles for publication in Lagniappe, the monthly publication of the state society. Chris is a principal of Advanced Business Systems, LLC which has offices in Austin, Nashville, and New Orleans.
